WESTON-SUPER-MARE ARE THE WINNERS

Ian and Jim from the Weston-super-Mare team were the winners of the four team competion held at the opening of the new petanque terrain in Victoria Park. Other teams taking part were; Wellington PC, Bridgwater PC and a team representing La Ciotat, our French twinned town.

Weston won all three of their matches and with one win and a draw Bridgwater were second. One win for the Wellington team put them in third place and the La Ciotat team came fourth with one draw.

So, Weston were the winners of the "Golden Boule" trophy and medals were awarded to all the other participants.
