Mayors Quiz Night

Last night we entered two teams in the Mayors Quiz raising funds for the Mayors charity, "The Men's Shed".

Unfortunatley we did not manage to walk away with any of the prize money despite the best efforts of both teams. One team came 7th overall with the other team not doing quite as well. However, it was a fun evening which we all enjoyed. Marion did manage to win a prize in the faffle and took home a very cute bear.

Although we did not win we did manage to raise the profile of the club. It was also good to be able to give something back to the Town Council who have been very helpful and generous to us over the past couple of years.
